CANVAS | HOTEL DEVELOPMENT
Canvas is a 100 room boutique hotel in the heart of Nairobi. The design proposal defined and developed the brand identity for a chain of hotels, with Canvas being the first of many. The architecture is a vibrant composition of projecting boxes with coloured glass, set against a black and white backdrop, creating an interesting play of colour, shadow and light during different times of the day. The interior architecture reinforces the architectural principles and combines faceted geometric forms in white, with black trimmings and hints of colour, to create a luxe, sophisticated, spatial experience.
