Surrounded by the Ngezi Forest, the Indian Ocean and some of the best diving and snorkelling sites in the world, the Pemba Trail is designed to add a critical ‘ocean experience’ to the Tanzanian tourist circuit. Envisioned as a catalytic development, it is designed to spur the tourism and tourism-related infrastructure across the Island of Pemba for long-term economic, people, and environmental sustainability. It features clustered experiences of entertainment, adventure and education, each with its own unique character rooted in the nature and culture of Pemba Island.
